caring for your flowers
although our flowers look incredibly delicate, with proper care they can be enjoyed for years to come
|
handle your flowers appropriately. flowers made to go in a vase may not be able to handle the stress of being wrapped around a headband, bouquets designed to be carried may lose their shape when left on a flat surface, etc.
hold your flowers by the stem, rather than the bloom or leaves. arrange your flowers with care, as placing them too close together or laying them flat will "smoosh" the petals and cause them to lose their shape. |
great news: you definitely don't need to water your flowers!
keep your flowers away from moisture and they'll look their best.
no light in your dreary basement office? fabulous!
direct sunlight will cause your flowers to fade.
if your flowers need dusting, just turn them upside down and tap the stems - gently!! - against the edge of a hard surface.
you can also try a puff of air (use your breath, not a compressed air can); a small, soft paint brush works well for
our blooms.
