during your free wedding consultation with our gardener, you can expect to:
    
         + provide general wedding details, such as date, time of day, location, colors, and overall tone or theme
                  
       + discuss preferred delivery date for your bouquet. 
                the shipping date for your bouquet will depend on the complexity of your design and availability of the gardener;
                please keep in mind that other bouquet orders are being tended in our greenhouse, as well
        
         + share images of and discuss your "dream-come-true" wedding flowers
                                          
         + if you don't have specific flowers in mind or are ordering your bouquet by color only, discuss any "banned" blooms
                                                       
      + discuss your budget for wedding flowers, if appropriate
               sometimes "dream-come-true" wedding flower ideas are based on a photo from a magazine and while you adore them,
               recreating that exact look simply isn't within your price-range.  being aware of your flower budget allows the gardener to
               offer alternate, cost-appropriate design ideas based on your flower preferences, color scheme,  style, and the original
               concept for your flowers.

we work to accommodate any budget and are happy to establish a payment plan prior to finalizing your order.

for all custom orders, a 50% deposit is due at the time of order, with final payment and shipping costs due once your paper flowers are in full bloom.

with the exception of rush orders, we ship flowers out every monday.

unless you request an unmarked box, expect a box clearly marked with the crimson poppy's logo and a photo of a paper flower.  information about the craftsmanship of our flowers and general care guidelines is included with every order.

we typically utilize USPS priority mail for our shipments, although other providers may be used based on the size of your order.  rush shipping is available for an additional fee.

we'd love to see every package delivered within 24 hours and arriving unscathed, but please keep in mind that we are at the mercy of the shipping service, too.  allowing adequate shipping time to have your package tracked or, worst case scenario, your blooms re-made, is recommended; we will gladly make phone calls, send e-mails to, and file claims with the shipper should there be a problem with the delivery of your flowers.

nearly all of our blooms are made-to-order; custom orders involve one-on-one consultation and typically include e-mailing photos of your flowers for approval at various stages of the project.  because of this, it's rare that a return is necessary.  should your order be incorrect (wrong color, wrong flower, etc.), we will gladly re-make your blooms and ship them to you free of charge.

we love the idea and decoration of "found objects;" please keep in mind that many of the vintage containers we offer fall into this
category.

beside allowing us to offer interesting pieces at reasonable prices, these items occasionally show their service to former owners in the way of a worn spot, nick, or other minor flaw.  chances are good you'll never notice your item has been well-loved, but we want you to be aware you're becoming part of the recycling movement and our items are sold as-is.

that said, we will never knowingly sell a defective item and your complete satisfaction is always our priority.

when ordering flowers by container, the listed price is for one container and includes our gorgeous handcrafted paper flowers as mentioned in "we envision". feel free to change things up!  please contact us with the flowers desired and we'll adjust the listing for you.
