Showy but graceful, zinnias originated in Mexico and are named in honor of the 18th century botanist, Johann Gottfired Zinn. Most often seen in yellow, white, orange, purple and red, zinnias signify thoughts of friends and absent love.
Choose zinnias when you want to tell a friend you appreciate them—in green, they also communicate optimism and renewal. Zinnias are just the flower to tell your guy, “I miss you.” Keep it bold with yellow or orange.
Zinnias are not often seen as wedding flowers, so they are a great choice for the modern bride seeking something unusual for her bouquet or table centerpiece. Especially appropriate for autumn weddings, zinnias pair well with gerbera daisies, roses and asters and chrysanthemums.
Our zinnias are presented as single blooms with leaves, perched atop an approximtely 9" flexible stem.
All flowers are made to order, so please expect a minimum of 5 business days before your flower is shipped.
